Interesting that they gave JP a double for that last AB in the bed score.
Why. It was a double. Had to be to score both runs.

Spectacular finish, like I say, this down to the wire AL West division race is unprecedented in M's history.

JP is the MVP, great season.

By the way, what was the count before that hit?

Any of you guys going to the last 3 games, just curious?
Count was 1-1, I believe.

If they're still in it Sunday, I'll probably find the cheapest standing room ticket and go.
More unprecedented than 1995's 163 game?
I was there. I was working at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle on the 11th floor of the Century Square Building on 4th and Pine at the time. It was an afternoon game. I told my boss either you give me the afternoon off or I quit. We had support strict hours because I had to field calls from banks wanting to borrow millions of dollars up until 1pm PDT deadline and the game started at 1:35pm PDT. So at 1pm I left my desk and started running towards the Kingdome in my Suit and tie. As I was running I noticed there were also hundreds of other people running to the game as well. It was absolutely bizarre and surreal.

Never have been so nervous at a Sporting event in my entire life. When Sojo hit the Little league Grand Slam it was the biggest release and sigh of relief imaginable. I can still feel it to this day 28 years later......We Finally had made the playoffs!. btw that was "only" an 18 year drought. lol

How did Scott watch Teo in right field the other night and then start him in the outfield and Haggerty at DH again tonight?

Hernandez has 121 plate appearances at DH this year with an OPS of .869

When he's in RF he's had 545 plate appearances with a .725 OPS

I’d just never seen that scenario or paid attention. I wonder if he even ran to 2B, he certainly wasn’t there before the run scored.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

I was there. Went with a friend, the two of us, he was my boss actually. So I went and stood in line and the two of us went to the game. Deal was, when I finally got to the window I just bought the two tickets. They looked kinda shocked at me, you could probably buy a dozen tickets? So she looks and says how about these two. It was a pair of box seats like I think it was 15 rows behind 3rd base. Unbelievable seats, never have had such good seats at any game. And it was because I only wanted a pair of them I guess

Well the celebration started with him between 2nd and 3rd so yes he did.

If it wasn't over the OFers head and was a routine ground ball base hit then they would have scored it a single but scoring that a single would have been odd.
