Why are you crowning them? Lets see what they look like when they face some adversity... there's always a point during a season. It's a young team that has never experienced what it's like to win. Much less when things start to not go their way after winning a few. I'm curious to see how they react.

That D sure looked like shit last week in Arizona when all of a sudden things started to get harry. I thought that was rather telling.

Yeah well I believe we've earned the right to gloat a little bit and get the benefit of the doubt until the 49ers prove anything when it matters like RW, PC and Co. have done for years.

For some reason our fan base refuses to take that stance.

Excited? For what?

The 49ers are our biggest rival? 12-3 over the last 15 doesn't say that. It's another regular season football game to me.

They've haven't earned the right to make it seem "special."

Play the Patriots? Sure. The Saints? The Packers? You bet. They've all been contenders for years.

The 49ers? Why should I get up for them?

well, I am willing to concede the 9ers have a good looking team, I am happy to have the rivalry back. Its a great call for a Monday night, if its just another game to you...cool
