Jesus this organization. SS is not a good leader and he needs to go. Heaven forbid we actually have a player with a strong desire to win and is not afraid to put Stanton and JD on notice. I say give me 26 Cal Raleigh's. And also a big FU to SS, JD, and Stanton.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2023 8:13 pmSS is a little Bitch.
“One thing I will say about Cal is he has an opportunity to be a big-time leader for us, not just on the field but in the clubhouse as well,” Servais said. “And part of being a leader is understanding where you’re at and being able to control your emotions at those times. I understand the frustration. Sometimes there’s a better way to go about those things.”
SS forcing Cal to apologize. What a crock of shit. If he hadn't already lost the clubhouse, he has now.

So being a leader means to shut up and play baseball and don't question the management. Such a fucked Franchise.

SS trying to keep his job.
Re: Cal says what we have all been thinking
Cal controlled his emotions all year until he saw it play out exactly as everyone probably expected when the biggest signings turned out to be Pollock, Wong and La Stella.
Like the rest of us he bit his tongue (for the most part) and let it play out. Now he's just stating the obvious.
Dipoto sucks. Servais is just his lapdog.

SS, JD, Stanton. Is there a more classless organization in sports? Who would want to play for these morons?
Stanton is 68 years old and is quickly becoming one of the most hated men in Seattle. He has more money than he'll ever know what to do with. His kids and grandkids are set for life. He clearly doesn't care about winning and lacks civic pride despite being a Seattle native. What's his motivation for continuing to own this team versus retiring on a beach of his choice?

Exactly. At some point has to stop being just about money and more about legacy!
They could go from hated to beloved in one season in Seattle.
Look at the Seahawks.

I think because he is a businessman and not a baseball fan he takes overemphasizes the importance of the non baseball aspects of the org to make himself feel more important and powerful because that is what he controls. People like that aren't beach people. They would go nuts doing nothing.TraderGary wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2023 10:26 pmSS, JD, Stanton. Is there a more classless organization in sports?
