This is a great test for him. Obviously is the best pitching he has ever faced in his life.

Was some of the pitching he face in WBC at this level?

Maybe some but I remember UK facing some pretty obscure countries in terms of being Baseball power houses.

They were in same pool as US , Columbia, Mexico and Canada. Don’t see box for games but should have been AAA level. Had to look it up

Bliss 4-5. Looking forward to seeing him in ST. Like I have said before, 2B is now longer a high priority thanks to the sons of Sewald. They just better not go with the 3rd son, Canzone as a solution for a corner OF spot.

Ford's just played in the European Baseball Championship which run until last Sunday. Absolutely no idea that was even a thing.

Turns out GB won all three group games then beat Czechia (which is apparently what the Czech Republic now wants to call itself), then Germany before losing to Spain in the final. Bizarre load of old nonsense that does Baseball no favours at all as it gets zero publicity and the standard can't be that good.

Ford played all 6 games went 9 for 21 (.429), 3 HR, 5 SB and OPS of 1.338.
