He barely looked like a starting QB on Saturday, let alone a Heisman contender. I think they should have revealed that he was hurt last week, and they should have come into this game with a mindset that we are going to run the football and dominate the line of scrimmage. The cutsey bullshit wasn't working, and they refused top admit it. Without that pick six we probably would have dropped out of the top 10. The offense should be carrying the defenses bag all week.D-train wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 1:26 pmPenix takes a significant hit. McCarthy now the fav.

Still, I stand by what I said about the tackling. Why can't the first guy EVER bring the ball carrier down? I saw it a lot yesterday in the Seahawks game too.

J.J. McCarthy, Michigan: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)
Jordan Travis, Florida State: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)

I'm sure Nix will have a terrible game vs. the Amazing USC D on Saturday.

Two weeks ago I complained that we didn’t run the ball. Look what happens when we do? Maybe Waldron should give the Husky staff a call and ask how it’s possible to call more than one or two types of run play? Hey Shayne, dive left and dive right isn’t working…how about a little self scouting and running some of the formations and plays that have actually worked in the past?
The dude has an NFL job and curls up like a child in the Red Zone and has ZERO creativity in the run game. It’s gross. Thank God we get to watch this Husky team for a few more months. I’m scared of next year when I have to watch Morris in Purple and another year of Geno in Blue!

Gotta Think that UW is going to be pretty much choice number 1 for any QB in the portal.

Great point. I am also interested in seeing the growth of that kid that passed up his Senior year. But man, he is going to be young next year.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 5:05 pmGotta Think that UW is going to be pretty much choice number 1 for any QB in the portal.
