The look of embarrassment on his face tells a trillion words....
BUT WE CAN'T SIGN FREE AGENTS!!!

WHAT ABOUT RE-SIGNING CAL!!!!

Cal would rather take blow torch to his balls then extend with this clown car org.
No kidding, they're going to end up without any of these guys. I'd even bet on Julio opting out in 2029 at this point.

It might be on here somewhere but Sam Carlson elected minor league FA and signed with brewers. Just saw his post on twitter

That's too bad, seemed like a talented kid.

Maybe the cards aren't done
The Cardinals are listed among the favorites to sign left-hander Jordan Montgomery according to the oddsmakers at BetOnline. St. Louis enters with +300 odds (25%) to reunite with the reigning World Series champion, who is set for a sizeable payday

Jerry must be flabbergasted that they won't trade their best hitters to him for his #5 starter.

Some Cincinnati fans still think second baseman Jonathan India is worth a Seattle starting pitcher:

Like I have said we could find a better hitter in the Country of India scouting Cricket matches than Jonathan India.
