Yeah, I understand that, it's the fluctuations I'm speaking to. And maybe I'm exaggerating it but it seems to me guys go from a 100 OPS+ to 125 and back again. I'm lazy to dig up examples, seems volatile. I suppose it's just mirroring the volatility of the player
Yes, it corresponds with the volatility of their OPS. The only thing that might change is the level of offense overall.

For example, in 2000, Carlos Guillen had an OPS of .720 and and OPS+ of 87.

In 2022 JP had a OPS of .675 and an OPS+ of 100 because league wide pitching was way more dominant.

Rays just stole him, traded for Austin Meadows
Meadows has played in only 42 games since the trade due to vertigo and anxiety issues, and the Tigers non-tendered him last month

That would work. Far better than what we are trotting out there today

Yep he hit 18 HRs at the Trop in 2023. It is harder to hit HRs than T Mobile according to this:

The Rays have a top 100 prospect that can play 3B. They're probably freeing up the roster to maybe get a draft pick.

I'd give them Miller and Brash, then sign Yamamoto or Snell, plus Robert Stephenson.

Yes, but he hit every single one of his home runs to left field where the T-Mobile dimensions are a bit longer, 331 vs. 315 down the left field line.

He has got some flaws but a hell of a lot better than Urias.

It's easier to get these numbers from a corner outfielder. Paredes will likely regress.

So he has hit 53 for TB and would have hit 51 for us. I think I will take it.
