So on the last 3 drafts, the Kraken have drafted in the first 2 arguably the top forward in the draft, while this past season the Blackheads got the top forward.

BENIERS: while last year he was Rookie Of The Year, he doesn't look like he's going to be an All-Star. In fact, this season he sucks. Only 13 points in 29 games, plus he falls down a lot, even when nobody touches him.

WRIGHT: while only 19 years old, he isn't even good enough to play on a dogshit NHL team and only has 15 points in 19 games in the minors.

BEDARD: has 21 points in 26 games for the Blackheads. And he's 18.

What did the Kraken do this past offseason to become so much worse? I realize there have been injuries to guys like Tanev and Barikovsky (spelling?) but they had injuries last season as well. With all those draft picks they should be getting better not worse.

They had really good backline players in Geekie, Sprong, Soucy and Donato, and they just let them all go and replaced them with dogshit. The top players overachieved last season and have dropped off. The young players have made little impact. The team is dead last in the league in shooting percentage and the goalies are still stopping only 89% of opposing shots taken. Their true record is 8-21 which is actually the worst in the league. The Kraken literally are the worst team in the league. Ron Francis screwed the pooch.
