Acuna is a better player than Julio. The Braves expect him to be a superstar. He's a proven superstar.
And they will have to pay him 40 million a year to keep him.
Yeah, because he's earned it.

Julio and his .818 OPS ain't earned shit.
And he won’t be getting 40 million a year. Amazing how that works… Acuna is also considered to be hugely underpaid by everyone

Your argument is so f'n ridiculous.

You know why they paid him what they did. It's to be a superstar and the face of this franchise.

Not whatever the fk he's doing out there rn.

They paid him a good salary to guarantee he was around for a long time, and they gave him the opportunity to escalate it to be a superstar. Yeah, he’s been disappointing to start this season. Don’t act like they guaranteed him 35 million a year though

They gave him one of the largest contracts EVER paid out to a 23 year old.

It's silly that you think that doesn't carry significant expectations.

"Disappointing" would be a .250/.350/.400 split.

He's been down right terrible.

Never said it doesn’t come with expectations. He’s not being paid as a superstar, so to say he is is just bull shit. They gave him the opportunity to earn superstar pay by playing like a superstar

Yeah, they hand $200 million to a 23 year old to not expect him to be a superstar.

Keep telling yourself that.

Acuna is at a .684 OPS by the way. Is he a piece of shit too? You key talking about how he’s a superstar. What about Austin Riley. They bought out his arbitration years and he’s at a .664 OPS. They must both be pieces of shit. It’s been a fucking month.

Or is it ok that they play like shit because their management pays for other players to help out?

All of those guys are significantly more proven than Julio. They deserve their money.

And yes, if I were a Braves fan I'd be livid... but they deserve the benefit of the down given their consistent performance.

Julio had one month last year... otherwise he was a league average hitter.

They got their contracts long before they were proven though. Their management took a risk, they also surrounded them with other players to help them out

And they lived up to those contracts they got, didn't they?

Again... this circles back to how you treat Julio compared to everyone else in the way you comment.

It's annoying to see you rail against Dylan Moore but give Julio the fattest pass ever.

Bro has to grow the fk up, stop flashing the dumb X sign in center, stop being a giggly little school girl and hit the fkn baseball like the contract he signed depends on it.
