Can't disagree. Even though Joe fumbles, mumbles and stumbles very well on his own, Trump could have made him look even more incompetent and, in the process, made himself look much better, widening the gap even further. It's just unfortunate that Trump feels the need to resort to exaggeration.

Overall, I would say that the low-quality performance of the two old guys was a negative advertisement for Western democracy.

As an aside, I'm hoping that your '56-0' comment translates to the football field this season.

There is a lot of chatter about changing the ticket. Biden would have to voluntarily step down and then the delegates could vote for whomever they want at the convention. Not sure if that would help or hurt the Dems at this point but it certainly points to desperation.
