Well the CATO Institute is one of the worlds leading think tanks, they espouse libertarian political philosophy. If you want to call them a bunch of idiots it's fine with me. You also must not be an originalist

Donn Beach doesn't know the difference between a settler and an illegal immigrant. Wow, just wow. Donn, hint.....one group came when nothing was built yet and built it themselves. The other is illegally entering and being given everything for free to buy their votes with no expectation of them contributing to society. You're about the dumbest rock I've ever come across.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 5:41 pmHey dumbass, this isn't 1776 any longer.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 3:41 pmWhat is the best immigration policy for the United States? At its founding, America exemplified the Libertarian Land ideal: no immigration restrictions of any kind.

Just think of the drugs that have been created since 1776.
Just think of the crime since 1776.
Pull your head out of your ass and never post something as stupid as this again.

Nice to see others chiming in, feels like you're bashing your head against a wall repeatedly when talking to these libs sometimes when nobody else speaks up.
If walls don't work, I wonder why more prisons don't just use open-air systems like a big campout.

Re: My VP picks in order of preference
I'm more of a libertarian than anybody here
Re: My VP picks in order of preference
You're less of an American than anyone here also.
"Braindead lib-ertarian" has a nice ring to it though.

Having degrees, titles, and or an organization does not give you "Appeal to authority" that is a classical logical fallacy. "2/3 dentist say they prefer Crest."Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 2:46 amWell the CATO Institute is one of the worlds leading think tanks, they espouse libertarian political philosophy. You ever heard of:
The Frankfurt School?
Radical feminism?
CRT?
How about the fact that the University of Michigan employs 241 people in its DEI department making 30 million dollars? (That works out to $586 per student to fund that BS.) Do you think if you walked up to 100 U.M. students and asked if they were getting their money's worth from that crap? How many would say no, we need more DEI staff?
Have you ever listened to the absolute made up language of "Dr. Judith Butler"? She has a PhD from Yale! And is completely in a Alice in Wonderland level of detachment from reality.
A lot of idiots talk shit with an alphabet of "authority" behind their names and billionaires funding them to create "studies" and "schools" to advance their agenda's. I am not impressed.

Just trying to introduce some of the range of Ideas that contribute to the political Philosophy that is Libertarianism.

Lol, you go off about walls then got wrecked from every direction, now you want to act like it was a conversation about libertarianism?Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 6:13 amJust trying to introduce some of the range of Ideas that contribute to the political Philosophy that is Libertarianism.

Wrecked? I posted an article from a leading libertarian think tank. You guys respond by flipping out, okay. I brought it up because you characterized democrats as open border. I pointed out if you want to talk open border seems to me, it would be more a libertarian ideology. Of course there's disagreement, that's what you do, debate it.

You people are just blind to the constant nonsense the lib media and politicians spew against Trump, get outta here with that shit.gil wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 5:46 pmI know I've said before that Republicans will win in a rout if they can make the election about policy rather than anger and grievance. Unfortunately for Republicans, Trump has to do Trump: insulting the Vice President, insulting journalists interviewing him, belittling anyone who doesn't suck up. It's as if calling people names and being constantly pissed off at perceived slights, while vowing retribution, is Trump's version of being a real man. (And we all know how important it is to be a real man, right?)
