Have you guys seen Trumps Agenda 47?

Has anyone seen what Kamala's actually running on besides fake hype?

Or do we just assume it's going to go just like the last 4 years, except now she'll supposedly let people keep their tips....?

Thanks. I'd love to see some of the "how" on a number of these, but it's a clear set of of goals.

I assume we are doing to see a platform (for Harris and the Democratic Party) adopted next week at their convention.

I think it is interesting that that Trump's priorities do not include anything bout abortion. As far as I know, every Republican platform since I was a kid has called for a national ban on abortions. This year, sensing the politics are not favorable for articulating this, they have backed off. Smart political move, but I wonder about the people who have strong principled opposition to abortion in all (or most) cases. Where are they on this? Or (as a few of my liberal friends claim) do they just go along with whatever Trump wants?

All President Trump has ever said was he was going to have Roe vs Wade overturned and returned to the states. He has never said anything about a national ban on abortion.

Vance has backed up this agenda....or lack of agenda item on abortion. "It's a states issue". So, Gil and SoB, you don't have to worry.....babies will keep getting cut out of women and shredded and dumped in the Medical Waste container.

Thanks for the reassurance, man. :(

But again, my point is that the party's stance is not what it was in the past, and I've said I have a lot of sympathy for the "near total ban" position. The Republican platform in the past was NOT that it's a state issue; it was that it was a human rights issue and fetuses deserve the opportunity to live and be born. Why has the Republican Party turned away from that principled position?

I would the change is because it's President Trumps position on abortion.

I actually am looking forward to the federal government getting 100% out of the abortion business. If Planned Parenthood keeps performing them and receives federal funding, they should be cut off. I am also against the USA funding abortions around the world.

Exactly. Trump is a deal maker and he knows that either extreme wasn't going to please everybody.

So he put the states in control, and that's that. It's not part of his platform because he already did what he planned to.

I'm curious about what makes it funny. It just seems like a list of opinions that some people have (and want the rest of us to accept). Where is the humor?

The humor is in their faces:
They look so proud of all the hated of Israel, cops and hard-working people.
They look so proud of their desire to take away peoples rights.
They look proud of their Marxist ideas.
They look proud that nothing came of the 'stolen valor' issue.

And not to mention, it's called political humor.

I can certainly understand why you don't think it's funny since you are left of center, but I also know you understand other peoples ideals.
