Jerry has to pretend his Sewald trade was Genius just like the Gravemen trade. The dude never learns..Juliooooo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 2:16 amHe’s probably the worst hitter on the team right now. Since 5/14 he’s hitting.189 with a 69 WRC +, and that’s being a platoon where he didn’t play against lefties the last few months. He sure has gotten a lot of run because of his first 5 weeks. Moore should be playing ahead of him against righties.

But Casey Sadler and his wife were talking about the Servais firing.
Mentioned not feeling particularly close to Servais... recalled Servais seeing him at a fundraiser and Servais seemingly trying to not talk to him. Felt that he was not accepted by the M's and they called the M's "one of the weirder" teams/clubhouses to have played for.
Compared Scott to Dave Roberts... they say Roberts has a way of making every player feel very welcome. Sadler really likes Dan Wilson.

BS call right after stealing one from Castillo. That cost Castillo 7 more pitches. And this dude is a rookie. I can't wait for Robo umps.

That's very interesting. Speaks to the culture surrounding this team/organization. It's no secret that the players hate Dipoto, and apparently were not fond of Servais either. If they want to compete next year, Dipoto must be given his walking papers. That's the only way the culture has any chance of improving.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 2:25 amNot a very insightful podcast...

It's unfortunate we can't fire the owner.

First game, first inning of the season.
JRod doubles down the right field line...
Our new star free agent acquisition grounds into a double play to kill all momentum.
I'm not kidding, I think Garver's AB broke both him and Julio, and the team.
Julio didn't hit another double for like a month.

Amazing this far into the season and 94 middle middle and we still watch strike 3 go by. Like where are they looking
