I know better than to try and play the algebra equivalency game with the NFL.
Glad to be 2-0 but they barely squeaked by a Denver team that is probably going to have a top 5 in the next draft and they needed a last second field goal to beat a team that won 4 games last year, has a rookie coach and a QB who probably shouldn't even be starting in the CFL. They are going to have to improve a ton if they want to be a playoff team this year.
There we go. Someone had to throw a little water on this love fest.
It's very early still. I'm superstitious, so I won't give names, but there are a few players on this team, that if they
were to get injured, it would be bad. Geno is in the zone right now, but in the past he has lost his shit, which resulted
in inconsistent play and a bad example. Same with DK. What happens when this team loses two strait? How do they
respond? Can we beat the fucking 49ers?

You play the teams that are on your schedule - that's all you can do. Games are generally close in the NFL. This is still the 'preseason' for most teams, especially teams with new coaches, schemes and players - like Seattle. If this is the floor for this team - we are in pretty good shape. There will be some growing pains and some hand wringing losses to come, but this team seems to be headed in the right direction - just the coaching improvements alone are glaring - the time management, the adjustments on the fly, the discipline, the play calling. After the last few years of utter predictability, lack of any discipline or direction, any offensive or defensive creativity, this is a very refreshing looking team that looks potentially dangerous on both sides of the ball. That offense is just waiting to explode and that defense - when Nwosu gets back - c'mon - that is a fierce unit. I don't need perfection, I don't expect perfection or a SB run this season, I expect consistent improvement, discipline, a clear direction from the coaching staff - and I am already seeing that - happy to let this play out and see where it goes. This is what I wanted to see happen. Still thinking this is a 10ish win team. This is still the 9ers division - I don't give a shit if they lost to Minnesota - they are still the team to beat - until they aren't. Cards are gonna be a hard out and the lambs always give us fits - division play gonna be a bloodbath again this year.
Great stuff but try to embrace a paragraph or two my hollywood writing friend. :)

Sorry, but what team in the NFL isn't an injury or two from being in trouble?

No argument there, but my point was what happens with this particular team with it's new coaches etc?
Adversity. What happens we they face some adversity.

Seahawk D on pace for 110 forced 3-and-outs versus 30 last year. That pretty much confirms everone's gut reaction that things have changed significantly and reaffirms how fucked up things were with Carroll and his DEI defensive coordinators the past several years.

Valid point. I think we faced that though. The first two quarters against the Broncos were about as bad as I’ve seem offensively. I feel good about what I’ve seen. They could miss the playoffs this year again, and in my opinion be better than last year or even the year before.
