Re: Mayor Eric Adams indicted in New York City
Yeah, I agree....the half billion dollar fine to Trump when nobody was hurt, harmed or done wrong is the right thing.
How about the 34 counts of fraud he was found guilty of after the statute of limitations had expired?
How about the raid at his home to get documents that he had told them months ago they can come and get. Then we find out that Biden had classified documents from when he was a senator and vp (which he shouldn't have had in the first place).
How about the insider trading from a bunch of people in congress (Paul Palousi comes to mind).
How about dating a Chinese spy and being on the Intelligence Committee.
How about destroying all the 'documents' that the Jan 6 Committee destroyed once the R's took control of the House.
Yeah, it's even.
By the way......What is a woman?

Just trying to point out that things ARE NOT EVEN.

Which ones stood up to Biden's policies, and which were just guilty?gil wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 4:07 pmA friend sent me this list of Democrats who have been indicted by the Feds (and in some cases, arrested) during the Biden administration. "Robert Menendez (former NJ Senator), T.J. Cox (former representative from California), Henry Cuellar (Congressman from Texas), Andrew Gillum (former mayor of Tallahassee), Michael J. Madigan (Illinois state representative), Hunter Biden (you know), and now Eric Adams. It sure looks like this is a politicized justice Department going after its political enemies!"
The difference is most of these people are likely criminals.... The only case there I paid attention to was Menendez and they didn't even expel him from Congress which is absurd.
Meanwhile we've watched Trump supporters peacefully walk through the Capitol building and get railroaded into prison.
They've put Trump's associates in jail for ignoring subpoenas, then they turn around and ignore subpoenas with no recourse.

People who I know much more than I do have told me that the Justice Department doesn't file indictments unless there is a pretty solid case. They just don't think it's worth the manpower unless they are go9ing to win. So I'm confident that all these federal charges against the democrats are provable, and not the result of some political retribution.bpj wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 7:18 pmWhich ones stood up to Biden's policies, and which were just guilty?gil wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 4:07 pmA friend sent me this list of Democrats who have been indicted by the Feds (and in some cases, arrested) during the Biden administration. Who knows about the NY cases about Trump? It's not the federal DOJ, so the calculus from the NY prosecutors might be different.

I didn't look for a counter piece yet to see what the libs are saying, buy doesn't look like the appeal judges are buying into the real estate case.gil wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 11:01 pmPeople who I know much more than I do have told me that the Justice Department doesn't file indictments unless there is a pretty solid case. Meanwhile, in Georgia, the whole case is falling apart as judges are dismissing more charges against trump. Fani Willis who stood on her soapbox claiming 'trump was not above the law" is refusing to appear in court despite a subpoena compelling her to. Apparently she is above the law. The hypocrisy is astounding. This is the same woman who hired and overpaid her boyfriend to work on the case - despite no experience - while they used taxpayer money for travel and grifting. The corruption is just mind boggling. She's going down in flames. But "democracy is at stake" if trump gets elected. Dems left and right going down in flames, government censorship exposed, crushing illegal immigration, crushing inflation, crushing food and gas prices, permanent war in the middle east, dem cities literally cannot afford police anymore... but Trump is the problem... because of those communist roadside merch booth.
Got it!
You can choose whatever side you want - but at some point - you really should be looking for the truth. The confirmed corruption and staggering hypocrisy under the current iteration of the dems - who have abandoned ALL traditional dem policies - is beyond debate. You either vote to continue this undeniable destruction of the country - or you vote against it. That's what it comes down to - it's just common sense. That's why you read the nonsense the dem trolls trot out - and it never makes any sense. Hillary Clinton literally paid for a fake dossier saying Russian hookers were pissing on trump - all in an effort to smear Trump - the feds completely censored your voice during covid and the previous election - the dems are allowing mass destruction coming across the southern border - but yet Trump is somehow the problem. Huh?
Make it make sense 2024.

Yup, only eight criminal charges left
Re: Mayor Eric Adams indicted in New York City
All with equal amounts of credible evidence- ZERO.
Funny how you can never see what's coming, you can only deal in a what-has-been world Donn.
Absolutely no original thought or discernment abilities.
Typical braindead lib that waits to be told instead of figuring things out for yourself.

What I see coming is a trial unless the rest are tossed out for some reason. That's what the American legal system is there for, to discern such things. I will wait for it to decide. I have confidence in the legal system as I do America in general. I will live with their determination. BTW the counts were not dismissed over a lack of evidence, it was considered the wrong venue. The cases don't turn on evidence in the first place, the evidence is in plain sight, such as trump's call to Raffensperger. It's more interpretation of the law, criminal intent, Trump's claim of immunity and so on.
