OT: Great performances
Re: OT: Great performances
One of THE greatest, defining-of-Americana bands from the 70's. SO many hits. SO many drugs. SO many second acts. The Toxic Twins in rarified air. Rocks, Draw the Line, Toys in the Attic - albums that defined the 70's. Yeah, they got 'sober' in the 80's and went glossy and mass produced for their second act. But no one in the 70's rocked harder than these guys.
From The Midnight Special in 1973, the title track from their 1973 debut album - Aerosmith - Dream On.

Okay that was a banger. Thinking of potentially one upping you, with your gentlemen blessing, of course.douche wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:38 pmTimeless tune. From one of the great concert events of the 70's, Texxas Jam 1978, which features Heart, Ted Nugent, super young Van Halen, Journey, Eddie Money, and this absolute classic, the title track from their smash album that debuts on December 1st, 1977, Aerosmith and DRAW THE LINE.
When marveling at the live performance, remember - they were absolutely wrecked and fucked up out of thier minds on too many substances to count - and they still pulled this off. Back when rock stars were dangerous, aggressive and often times lethal, and not at all worried about instafuckinggram followers.
