Thanks for posting this. The behavior of that host is why I don't watch any of those type of shows. Let's hear what the guy says with the freaking editorializing. ("OMG someone changed his mind!" *clutches pearls*)Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 5:52 pmGordon Sondland, who served as then-President Trump’s ambassador to the EU and who became a star witness against him in his first impeachment, shocked an MSNBC host by saying Trump won his support once again.
MSNBC host Ari Melber spoke with three former Trump officials, including White House adviser Peter Navarro, White House spokeswoman Sarah Matthews and Sondland, about topics such as how working for the Trump administration has impacted their lives or what the most important thing was that they learned about the former president. Sondland in particular was asked whether he stands by a previous disavowal of the president after the events of Jan. 6, 2021.
"No, I don’t stand by it, and I’ll tell you why," Sondland began. "I’ve now lived four years under the Biden-Harris policies and I have to say that those policies are not only becoming an existential threat to our country’s way of life, but to our allies as well."
The host loudly interrupted him and began shouting, "I’m going to let you finish, but this is so striking. You said it was a ‘no for me’ after that, after Jan. 6. And here we are right now, and you’re saying it’s a yes for you?"
Ari Melber shouted in disbelief as he questioned one of his guests
MSNBC host Ari Melber expressed shock as a former official who testified against former President Trump says he regained his support.
"It is a yes, for me. It is an absolute yes for me," Sondland said. "That is how badly the Biden-Harris team have prosecuted their job."
Melber continued speaking at a loud volume during the exchange: "But the whole point you seem to be making was that Jan. 6th and that kind of attack on democracy is bigger than any policy—"
"I am seeing so many attacks on democracy that eclipse Jan. 6th," Sondland replied, encouraging Melber to ask him what those are. Earlier in the same panel, he had voiced his concerns about a future scenario where "if the Democrats are able to impose their desired program over the next several years, there will be massive voting irregularities."
He later said, "Policy matters greatly, because policy translates into our way of life and the way our country operates." While he argued that Trump’s conduct around Jan. 6 was not an exemplary thing, there are bigger concerns facing the American electorate.
"I want to express is that I’ve now lived for four years under the Biden-Harris administration," Sondland said. "I live in a bucolic city of Portland, Oregon, which has been destroyed by those policies. Absolutely decimated. Businesses are suffering. My own business is suffering solely for political reasons, and it’s all fixable and they don’t want to fix it."

I'm used to the outrage by the main stream media. The part that I thought was interesting was that the 'star witness' in Trump Impeachment Trial is supporting him over Harris.
That is very damning for Harris.

I don't know anything about the guy, but I admire someone who doesn't align with one side or the other as a knee-jerk thing. He obviously called out Trump on the Ukraine thing and was punished for it, but still is willing to support him.
But ... he is just one person who a lot of people have never heard of.
Re: 2024 Election
.
What's going in in our country?
Billions to send to Ukraine.
Billions to send to Israel.
Billions to support the illegal immigrants.
But they abandon people after a hurricane..
Abandoned the people of Maui in an apparent land grab.
They let chemicals dump and then blew them up in East Palestine, Ohio.
The people who are actually in charge of our country are destroying it. On purpose.

We are talking about what JD Vance said. Last time I checked he's a republicanauroraave wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 2:53 pmIsn't Trump pro-israel and anti war? Wouldn't that make him - quite literally - the opposite of Hitler? But seriously though, I love love love people tossing out this utter nonsense to 'frighten' people into submitting to the will of the dems. It's like the 'OMG - racism!" card - no one buys it anymore - it's another grift coming from the dems. If the dems wanted to grow their voter base - all they have to do is have smart, common sense policies that help the average American - but since they have none, it's name calling and fear mongering and we will give you free shit like cancel student debt if you vote for us. It's a grift. Also, how would they know what he was thinking in private - if it was private?Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 7:58 amVance wouldn't answer the question of whether Trump lost the last election. Dude as sold his soul to be a senator, he's there because Pense believes in the constitution
Vance was once a prominent 'never Trump' conservative, who called the capricious mogul everything from "a fraud" through "a moral disaster" to "cultural heroin", as well as privately worrying that he might be "America's Hitler".
As always, nothing coming from the dems has any foundation in common sense or logic - or ever ever ever ever ever in common sense pro-american taxpayer policy. The grift is up - NO ONE buys it and NO ONE cares about 'election denial'. Remember - hillary was then original election denier - which conveniently left out of their nonsensical hate-based rhetoric. the same people doing everything they can to take away free speech and misinform you about your health - and all they can come up with is "Trump is a threat to democracy" and the hilarious 'hitler' nonsense. You would have to be a complete dunce to buy into this stuff. "Mostly peaceful protests" in support of a career criminal while cities are burning in front of our eyes.
Waltz gets thoroughly embarrassed in the debate - and you're trying to steer the conversation to 'trump is like hitler' and 'election denier" that's all you've got? While inflation is killing the country? LMAO!
Funny how the dems are pro-war, anti israel and anti free speech - trump literally got the middle east peace deals done (abraham accord) yet somehow trump is 'hitler' and a threat to democracy.
make it make sense 2024
"I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical asshole like Nixon who wouldn't be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he's America's Hitler,"

Re: 2024 Election
Fire Fighters Union has has decided to not endorse either party.
The IAFF has reportedly endorsed a Democrat in every presidential election since at least 1976, with the exception of 2016, when the union also made no endorsement.
After news about the IAFF's non-endorsement broke, the Trump campaign seized the opportunity to pan the Democrat nominee's policies as "devastating" to workers.
"Kamala clearly has a BIG problem with rank-and-file workers across the country, who know her policies — such as a fracking ban, electric vehicle mandate, and other left-wing lunacy — would be devastating," the Trump campaign wrote Thursday.
"Workers also know President Trump and Senator JD Vance, the most pro-worker Republican ticket in history, have always had the backs of American workers — and always will," it added.
The IAFF's announcement follows the International Brotherhood of Teamsters' decision not to endorse any candidate running in this year's election.
The writing is on the wall. All you people thinking it's going to be a "really close" election, should prepare for a spanking because the rank-and-file is screaming how they feel.

Trump was new and an unknown. Vance was new and believed Shillery's Press (not that he liked her). So he formed an opinion on things that were NOT TRUE.
It's amazing how you lib's can't get this through your heads and keep resorting back to it.
Dope.
