Holy shit! Where was that during the Apple cup!
Exactly. There are like what? 90 percent a new roster. Took them time to gel imho.
Not only that I do believe the coach had them properly prepped for this game.
Rogers was interviewed post game and said we had 3 days of great practice.
They wanted this one and went out and got it!

Great win 4 sure.

Solid win, but it's puzzling.

Oddsmakers gave UW the advantage, a 2.5 point advantage at one point, but Michigan was ranked 10th. UW lost to unranked WSU and Rutgers.

Either Rutgers and WSU are amazing (they aren't) or Michigan was horribly/incorrectly ranked.
The voters look like complete idiots just going with the Brand name.

I tend to agree.
All three teams; UW, Michigan and Florida State were decimated by the draft and shouldn't have been rated at all.

Will be interesting to see if Michigan is still ranked after this loss.
The will be and we won't be.

When I click on it, it goes right to Steve Sandmeyer's post with video of the end of the 1st half when Fisch didn't call a TO and wasted 20 seconds and then went to halftime with a TO remaining.

I disagree, UW, UM, and FSU should and I believe are trying to claim, reclaim elite program status. SEC schools get tapped every year but they just reload. I think these two teams had additional challenges in that they both had new QBs, and transitioned coaching staffs.

Yeah and USC lost to Minnesota and went from 11 to 25, Texas AM beat Missouri and went from 25 to 15, the tigers went from 9 to 21. I don't see an issue. The AP poll is sportswriters asked to fill out a list once a week. What do they spend on it, 10 minutes? It is going to be a general feeling where they think a program is at, and it's early in the season. The games haven't been played yet. The odds were set by gamblers that I think saw the same thing I did. The huskies had played well and Michigan should been nervous playing them. The rankings will catch up with the games being played. I believe the huskies end up being ranked. There are more scientific ranking systems out there now if you want to bother.

Alabama might have already screwed themselves out of even making the playoffs with the loss to Vanderbilt. Aside from the rankings, they have put themselves back just making it out of the SEC with a berth. With their schedule they couldn't afford a loss to a weak opponent like Vanderbilt
