It's truly amazing to see the sad depths Harris fans will go to desperately steer the convo away from the actual policy and issues that effect Americans like economics, inflation, food prices, permanent war - because neither her nor her supporters can discuss policy because to do so would shed light on their brutal - and intentional - failures - so they trot out this nonsense. I realized this is not Trump's account (just a fan) but this person is creating/amplifying misinformation. (Right below this on his/her/their page is "Blackhawk helicopter in western North Carolina is sabotaging volunteer supply zones." Yeah, right. Ur, maybe I should say it *could be true" and I should have an open mind. lol)

Meanwhile, on Sunday (two days came seem like a long time) I posted the image below from the National Hurricane Center. Milton was then a small tropical depression. The NHC first talked about the danger to Florida on Saturday, when the tropical depression was still unnamed and had 35 mph winds. So "not a single weather model predicted" is untrue.

"Do you believe this storm is completely natural?" Well, some people I know blame it on climate change. That's all I'll say about that

So yesterday I posted this video of this guy who worked with "Project Stormfury" and he talked about how he seeded clouds and caused storms in Vietnam.

He describes their flights and how they do it, even included photos.

Then, I start seeing things like this popping up-

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Looked them up, they just "collect information".

But then I asked Grok if any of the people involved with Project Stormfury had a link to NOAA.

My take on it is that Project Stormfury was trying to *weaken* hurricanes, and that it did not produce proof that the methods attempted were successful. But Project Stormfury *did* push forward the science of measuring, tracking, estimating, etc. with regard to hurricanes.

Those NOAA G4 patterns look like research and measurement flights to me. It's like if you are looking for a person lost in the woods: You trace a patten to cover as much ground as possible.

If you just wanted to drop something into a tropical depression to make it a monster hurricane, you'd go straight out and back, I would think.

I read something (can't find the link right now) that Fidel Castro accused the US of steering and intensifying hurricanes. I'm still of the opinion that any "successes" are at the margin. No one has any credible evidence of any capabilities to create a major hurricane from a small tropical depression, or to steer a hurricane to it impacts one (Republican) area and spares another (Democratic) area.
