Geno's attitude is deteriorating with every game. His body language is about as bad as DK's.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 12:57 amBelieve Geno is a heck of a lot stronger than DK, that guy is a survivor. Really it's McDonald needs to deal with it, he's getting tested as a rookie HC.

Coach Mike Macdonald said during his regular day-after-game news conference Friday morning that a review of the film made him feel a lot more optimistic about the team’s current state than some of the stats — and the three-game losing streak — might indicate.
Specifically, Macdonald pointed to a few plays involving the team’s most high-profile stars — quarterback Geno Smith and receiver DK Metcalf — as emblematic of how things have just been a little off of late.
“It helps put in perspective [that], yeah, we’re not there, but there’s opportunities where it might not be as far away as you would think,” Macdonald said.
I've seen the replay several times as people argue about it. Mostly Gino worshippers making the DK fucked it up point.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 2:20 amDK cut his route short on the 2nd pick. Guy is a total head case, should have been apologizing to his teammates and the fans but instead bitched to his OC. I would be in favor of trading him now, but if they don't i certainly hope they won't consider re-signing him.

Not rocket science but an apt description of the Hawks right now
Millen said the pick was a double negative for both Geno AND Metcalfe, not an either or. Geno needed to lead him more horizontally and DK could have made a better play on the ball. I've always said WRs were overrated in the grand scheme of things anyway, not worth the cap space they take, so i would be in favor of a trade but only if you got significant draft capital in return - by that i mean a minimum of two Round 2 picks. With his fumbles and immaturity it's easy to forget DK has more value than just his individual production - he and Walker are the only two players who put a scare in the defense, causing scheme adjustments to open things up for others. You'll never get that from Bobo.trharder wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 2:36 amI've seen the replay several times as people argue about it. My point is why is Geno trying to throw it to a covered DK running a sloppy route when JSN is wide open?
We should let the Hawks know about this revelation. loldouche wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 12:43 amHell yeah!
