While you boys are having pissing contests the election is turning and turning hard. Elon has 200 million followers. This interview will seal her fate.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/georgecalh ... erm-exams/

"In the 2022 midterm elections, all the prediction markets failed spectacularly. Right up to the night of the election, they projected outcomes for key races that turned out to be completely wrong."

I'm sure you remember the boisterous rallying cries for a red wave in conversative circles.

Abortion rights, a rejection of extreme-right candidates connected to Trump, a shift in white female voters to Democrats, and increased participation of voters ages 18-30... all were missed by polling and prediction markets.

I fail to see where any of dynamics have shifted heading into this election. And Harris is far more popular than Biden ever was.

And don't take my word for it... here's our friend Milikin and his response to the mid-terms:

"Trump has seriously fucked things up for Republicans.

Lifelong Democrat, doing an insulting impersonation of what he thinks Republicans are, has become a hemorrhoid on the ass of political discourse.

Too many people went along with this psycho-clown, because it was fun sticking it to the media and watching "libs" cry. But now Republicans are just a pathetic circus without any moral or logical high-ground.

Until a serious, competent, presidential Republican candidate wins the presidency, Republicans are going to have a hard time winning elections because they're all associated with him. Even when Democrats are clearly doing a poor job, and everyone thinks things are on the wrong track, people will still turn out to vote against Trump (any Republican).

Congratulations Democrats. Trump was the best thing that ever happened to you."

It's all a farce. It's just the democrats throwing a bunch of mud on the wall and hopes something sticks because they know they will be ousted in the biggest RED-WAVE ever come November.

Volatile or reactive?

I'm not sure what they are. Probably just more Trump voters that are gamblers.

I'd trust the betting markets over polls personally, at least it's people putting their money where their mouths are. Guess we'll see which ends up being more accurate when we're looking back.

$2 billion has been bet on this on polymarket. Would take quite the war chest to try and swing the market.

It's almost worth a bet on Kamala at this point..
