Hawks vs. Hams game thread
Re: Hawks vs. Hams game thread
Completely squandered a 3-0 start to lose 5 of their last six. It feels over for us this year. The only way we sniff the playoffs is if we win the NFC West, not frickin' likely after getting shit on at home by LA and SF. We just need some Arizona prison lovin' to seal the deal.
I'm done with Schneider's POS O-Lines every bloody year. It's time for him to GTFO.

I just feel a period of mediocrity coming, JS isn't going to allow them to be terrible but they aren't in position to be great. Sorry if that sounds like Debbie Downer

This team is going to be bad for a few years.

It's first down, Donn. They are in FG range as well. Get rid of the ball quicker to the obvious check down in K9, or sail the ball over K9's head, or just take the damn sack. It's first down! The Seahawk defense had lots of pressures on Stafford and Stafford had zero sacks. If you watch that replay and come out of it not thinking it's on Geno, then there's no hope for you.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 7:26 pmYoung is hitting him as he releases the ball, but it's all on Smith, the offensive line had nothing to do with the pick, okay

It's unfortunate that he didn't take the sack.

Not sure John’s ego will let him relinquish the reigns of drafting olineman. Whatever process they use they have to change it 180 degrees. Or bring in people from outside to revamp it.

I mean, the OG you drafted in the 3rd round was a healthy scratch yesterday with the worst starting RG in the NFL and one of the worst starting LGs in the NFL going and no other back-up.

From seahawks.com:
"Never mind that the interceptions were only partially the fault of Smith—one should have been caught by Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but instead was deflected for a pick, one came when Smith was hit in the arm as he threw, and one happened when the intended target, tight end AJ Barner, appeared to have been held—the fact remains, as Smith sees it, that he threw those passes, so the blame ultimately falls on him."

I'd rather have Geno and a good O line than Mahomes and this O line. A good O line is like a rising tide, it lifts all ships. It gives the QB time to scan the field and the receivers time to finish their routes. It opens lanes for the RBs and just generally demoralizes the opposition.
