Mid season update on the Rookie class
Mid season update on the Rookie class
The only guy that has been decent is the only pick I didn't like, Barner. This is not good.

Just awful. And Snider thought he was the best OG in the draft class. His 48.0 offensive grade ranks eighth among nine rookie guards with at least 100 offensive snaps.

Pritchett has allowed eight receptions for 105 yards and one TD on 13 targets, per PFF. His 30.4 defensive grade ranks last among 22 rookie corners with at least 100 defensive snaps played.
James, a sixth-round pick out of Auburn, was released on Aug. 27 as the Seahawks cut their roster down to 53 players. He was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad in September and has not appeared in a game this season.
Jerrell’s 40.3 overall grade ranks last among 10 qualified rookie tackles. He’s committed six penalties and allowed 12 pressures and three sacks.
Good God. While i was reading all that this scene kept playing in the back of my mind...Williams has totaled 96 yards on 13 punt returns and 228 yards on eight kick returns, but has also fumbled on two punt returns. Seattle’s 7.4 yards per punt return are tied for 27th in the NFL

It was applauded, the pick, it wasn't seen as a reach. Wondering what the problem is. This is what cable would complain about. The difficulty in projecting college linemen to the NFL, he didn't like how they were used in college, the spread offenses and whateverSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 10:06 pmJust awful. Here's PFF scouting reportIs UConn’s Christian Haynes the best pure offensive guard prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft?
After a dominant Senior Bowl performance, many are starting to view him in that light, along with the college tape to validate that standing as well.

I would avoid guys from non Power conferences for starters.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 11:27 pmIt was applauded, the pick, it wasn't seen as a reach. Wondering what the problem is. I think Murphy will develop into a really good DL. He already has the best pass rush #'s from rookies on the interior. It sucks having Uchena out, because that would force the offense to scheme for Uchena on one side Nafe on the other and then Reed, Murphy, and Leanard Williams who can push the center back.
