The defense department is I believe the largest, most complicated, important department of the united states government, 750,000 civilian employees. Seems like it be nice if Hesgeth had some sort of administrative experience, like running a Walmart or something. But that's probably just me.

And Matt Getz to head the justice department. Getz has called for the defunding of the FBI. Well at least he seems to have some common ground with BLM, defunding law enforcement over issues of fairness.

Let's see how many are left when Elon and Vivek are done and go from there

I'd rather have a soldier than a pencil pusher heading our defense personally.

That's a cute take.

Hey I'd be all for cutting defense. Let's see if they really can do it. It's the holy of holies. Everybody got a finger in that pie, including Musk
The Pentagon has already earmarked several space sector contracts for Musk's companies, the groundwork for which was laid well before the elections. [

And of anyone he knows what a waste most are.

They were going to pay him $1,100 per internet customer when he only charges $300 as it is. And then they yanked that contract from him and never connected a single customer to internet after wasting billions on it. Ask Kamala.

Bureaucracy at its finest.

haha - that's hilarious - and likely true. Funny how Don conveniently leaves out that Hegseth is a decorated combat veteran who not only graduated from Princeton but has a masters in public policy from Harvard. The part I like about these hires is they are all smart, outside-the-swamp thinkers, with zero interest in identity politics or the nonsensical BS of the left. You know, the things that are actually important to the average American - educated, experienced and not corporate America shills, pharma influencers or deep state nut jobs. Didn't Biden have a trans general in charge? Oh yea, a real show of 'strength' on the world's stage. Jesus Christ what an utter embarrassment. Then again, we all know Biden didn't appoint any of these people, all these policies and DEI hire nonsense reek of Obama. I mean, it's pretty clear Biden hated Harris - clearly she was forced on the ticket.

Nice to see hires based on expected performance rather than box checking and insanity.

Can we honestly expect anything different from don? He cherrypicks the comments he posts, then rails on and on about them:
Trump said, Mexico only sends it rapists and criminals----without posting the entire quote.
Vance called Trump Hitler----without posting about his change of opinion a couple years later.

It's always the same thing, pieces of thoughts and pieces of quotes.

Expect what, for the last eight years hegseth has been a television personality. It would seem nice to have a secretary of defense that had some administrative experience but again, that's probably just me. I'm just getting old and unimaginative. If they reduce the defense department down to nothing then it probably doesn't matter anyway,

Honestly in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine being lumped together with pentagon generals as leftists needing to be purged, that really is funny to me. You want a television presenter in charge of the pentagon and dump the generals go for it, I was protesting against pentagon generals long before you guys, It's like actually putting Abbie Hoffman in charge or Putney Swope. It's certainly is interesting
