If middle of the pack if fine by you, then okay. MM and JS are wanting to win championships.
Yep, because the play calling is why we ONLY won ten games with this roster last year. I think you are 1000% missing the point. But what ever.

And if JS is that committed to winning Championships? Maybe he should outsource the decisions on the O Line, because he sucks at it. He is the ONLY person that has been here since the last Championship. The ONLY one who has been here for this past ten year run of 3 and 6 in the Playoffs, no appearances in the NFCCG and he has been here in the past four years in which we missed the playoffs three times and got curb stomped in the WC round the one time we did make it. Yep, Championship maker he is.

Again, got rid of Pete and the same old issues cropped up on the O Line. So? Scapegoat someone, that always works. Especially in Seattle.

I go to any website that lists teams stats, click in yards or yards per game so it sorts it. Total defense is gauged by total yards, then they do rushing and passing. It’s not a new concept.
Got it.
I see the Seahawks are 18th in points per game. which is below average. Unfortunately, you need to score more points than the other team to win games. No wonder why they fired Grubb.

You blame Grubb for the Redzone issues? That's fine, I blame an absolute inability for the O Line to get a push in the run game and for Geno making poor decisions in the Red Zone. Often times he was under pressure though, so back to the O Line. If you believe that a new OC improves all that? I disagree, but at least that is an opinion. Not one you stated, but one I am extrapolating from your response.

But I don't think those are the reasons he was fired, and that's my opinion

So, it wasn't that we struggled to score points? I mean, isn't that what trharder was insinuating? So, if that wasn't it, and it wasn't because they were top ten in passing offense, what was it? It was a scapegoat issue for the fact that we haven't had a decent O Line in close to a decade. Again, find the common denominator. I'm sure there will be more excuses.

The built in excuse for JS was that Pete was his boss. That is gone. Not one thing he has done on the O Line has worked out. Others have lost their jobs for it. Sounds fair.

No, it wasn't about this being an issue or that, it wasn't a list of things, MM said that himself. It was about vision, there was an inability to come to agreement on moving forward, incapability. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it

I went back and looked at the stats and was actually surprised. The impression throughout the year was that the offense was terrible but it really wasn't. They were 14th in total yards which is slightly above average In 2023 they were 21st. They were 18th in Points which is slightly below average. In 2023 they were 17th. They were 8th in passing yards which is great. In 2023 they were 14th. The two areas where they struggled were running yards where they were 28th and interceptions where they were 26th. In 2023 they were 28th in rushing yards and 12th in interceptions.

All in all statistically I'd say they were a middle of the pack offense. and about the same level that they were at the previous year. It is odd to me that you would fire an OC in his first season with a middle of the pack offense and not give him a chance to build on what he started.

Its not good enough long term but its good enough for a first year to build on. Offenses take time to implement and to master. Its unreasonable to expect a first year coordinator to come in and immediately take a mediocre roster and make it top tier. If you just keep firing coordinators every year how are you ever supposed to get traction? We've had 4 coordinators in the last 8 years about to be 5 in 9.

Bates, Bevell, Schotty, Waldron, Grubb. Let's hope the next guy has the right vision I guess. I bet if any of them had the O Line Detroit has? They'd still be here.

The Seattle Seahawks have requested an interview with New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to fill the same role in Seattle, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

The news comes after multiple reports earlier in the day that the franchise is scheduled to interview Detroit Lions offensive line coach Hank Fraley and Chicago Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown for the position
