That's not even dumpster diving. That's digging underground in the actual dump.
I wasn't sure it was possible, but I think they may have hit a new low with this one. Dear God.

He's a bit older, but he's a lefty bat and his profile says he plays all over the field, which makes him kind of interesting. Maybe a late bloomer utility/bench guy?

.760 OPS in the minors for his career, must be a defense-first guy... huzzah!D-train wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 1:17 amHoly shit, yeah if he can just get the at .225 SLG% up to .250 we will be in business. No. He looks like a fairly typical AAAA guy to me. Decent minor league numbers, but hasn't hit much in the majors. I'd rather they pick up guys like this than these bat-first career minor leaguers that can maybe play first base and can't do a single other thing at the major league level, which typically includes not being able to hit (Mike Ford being the exception). And so, yes, I found this claim slightly more interesting than the typical transaction of this type.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 1:17 amHoly shit, yeah if he can just get the at .225 SLG% up to .250 we will be in business. Never to be served with roki sasaki, which is far too rich for Mariner tastes.
Pass me some more Solano, please.
