Interesting stat. Newsome deleted $100 Million from the budget for State Wide fire services. Now he wants $50 Million for money to hold Trump's immigration policies at bay. Where are the priorities? For the legal citizens of California, or the illegal immigrants who are now in California?

Would depend on the motivation, depending on the type of arson it's often mental issues. Supposedly around 100 firemen s year are convicted of arson, some of those might be seen as acts of terrorism
Maybe we can have a psychiatrist weigh in on what Sigmund Freud would say...

Buncha quacks.
So why do people set fires? There's some for personal gain, insurance fraud. A certain amount as pranks, dumpster fires. But what really motivates the rest, it's kinda interesting really. Like the relationship between wanting to put fires out and wanting to set them. There's a real primordial fascination with fire. What do you think drives people to set fires?

It's probably Donald Trumps fault.

Caitlyn Jenner made some keen observations. And is not wrong. I think this is what has upset so many of these homeowners.

Jenner shared a photo showing how her property backs on to overgrown public lands, which she branded 'a major liability'.

'My 13-acre property in Malibu backs up to CA state land. Notice the difference between my grounds keeping and the states?' Jenner wrote on X.

'No under brush or forest management by the state on their lands- providing a plethora of fuel for wildfires. But no underbrush on my land.

'The only reason my home survived the last round of fires was because of the ground clearance we are mandated to do.'

She went on to claim having state lands on her boundary is 'dangerous and a major liability' as the forestry service 'don't follow any standards or provide ground clearance the way they force their over taxed citizens to'.

Caitlyn Jenner blamed poor land management by California officials for the wildfire crisis still menacing the state.

'We have extremely high property taxes and are held to high standards of ground clearance to prevent fires from spreading.

CA=HYPOCRISY' Jenner fumed.

Mel Gibson also toured the remains of his home and was left stunned after a firefighter shockingly claimed there was no water in the fire hydrants, as the group drove through the fire-devastated areas of LA.

Ridiculous.

Any psychiatrists in the back of the class want to tell us whether any mad firemen might have been motivated to prove a point by lighting up some fires?

I'd lay even money on Homeless Immigrant, and Angry Laid Off Fire Fighter.

CNN is already attacking Mel Gibson, accusing him of spreading misinformation. Pot, meet kettle.

No water in the hydrants but billions for Ukraine and Israel.

The dem war machine is going to do everything they can to protect Newsom - the last thing he wants is ANY kind of culpability for mismanagement. Not sure what Gibson is saying, he can be a loose cannon, so that needs to be considered, but right now they'll circle the wagons to protect the usual dem suspects. It's amusing to watch in real time - resisting ANY accountability - while smearing anyone suggesting as much - and that is not an endorsement of Gibson - I have n o idea what he said - but this is the Dem playbook; smear 'em and "look over there, it's racism!"

CNN just lost a defamation suit. CBS likely settling with Trump on his lawsuit, ABC already settled with Trump for $15 million. The View has been reading legalese speak at the end of segments now to address misinformation they were spreading. I can tell you for a fact, late night hosts are lawyering up hard and checking their insurance coverage for this exact kind of coverage. Doesn't matter how you 'feel' about someone or something - you can't go on the airwaves and blatantly lie without repercussions - and they are happening. There are some very worried folks in Hollywood right now. Not sure how much longer CNN and MSNBC can sustain - ratings are so bad and now the lawsuits.

You reap what you sow.
