I don't hate the Chiefs. Historically, I love the Chiefs. I think Arrowhead Stadium is iconic. And I like Andy Reid.

But as of late? The Mahomes' ass-kissing is off the chart. Which makes me less of an NFL fan. It used to be about football, now it's all about overexposure and whoring of the game.
Yes, when a team's success becomes so valuable to the league that it affects the officiating then i have to root against that team. Mahomes is now getting the same "don't touch him or we'll throw a flag" treatment that Brady once did, and it's bad for the game. Just let them play and may the better team win, not the more marketable one.

I guess I'm supposed to feel bad for Detroit, I don't care. Jayden Daniels is worth watching and not unlikable.

Does this group hate the Chiefs? I don't love the Chiefs, but I admire them.

Fuck the Rams though. C'mon Eagles.
I can’t stand Mahomes or his annoying family
I hate him because he he could have had any woman in the country and went with that homely troll weirdo.

The missed field goal by the Texans is downright hysterical. You're in the playoffs, down 23-12, it's 4th and 14 so you decide to settle for a field goal because, hey, we're going to lose anyway so we may as well lose by 3 fewer points, and field goals are easy.

But it ends up being blocked, so you walk away with no points. Just pathetic.
fyi if they made the FG it would have been a one score game.

Well the Rams did a better job of containing Barkley this time, held him to only 205 yards rushing

The calls were dogshit but there is zero chance the NFL tells the officials to be biased against one team or another. An official could just become a whistle blower figuratively instead of literally go to the media, write a book and make 10s of millions.....NFL isn't going to risk $20B in revenues because they like Taylor Swift. It is preposterous.

Anyone else think the Ravens were stupid going for 2 early in the game?

It sucks, the two best teams have been eliminated from the playoffs. We all know Josh Allen and the Bills will choke again next week like they always do so it's going to be PHI-KC II or WAS-KC. :(

I agree, but it seems certain QBs get treated differently. Teams were able to abuse Raplesburger and Newton, for example. I think it's more of a human unconscious bias thing. Other QBs get full advantage of the QB protection rules. As for fans, it's confirmation bias at work. When you are sick of Mahomes winning, every call is proof of the conspiracy.

I think that in the second half if you're chasing 8 you should go for 2 and the tie, but in this case it definitely came back to bite them. Can't believe Andrews dropped that ball. AND he fumbled away a previous drive.

We haven't gotten out of the second round since the Super Bowl loss. I'd take where the Lions are over where we are right now.
In 7.5 months, of course. Tonight? NFW.
I'd rather lose a second round playoff game than have ten wins and stay home. One team needs help to get over the hump, and had a middle of the road draft pick. The other actually had some bad luck to not advance, and ends up with a better pick that they should have.

I get what you are saying about right at this moment. But this is one night. It's no Super Bowl XL, it's not second and goal. I'd rather be a Lion fan right now.
I think it was worse for them. This is the best team they've had in 70 years or so, their fans have been waiting all their lives for this, and then THAT happened. I turned on the game, saw the score at 45-28 and they were panning through the crowd. Sports are so cruel sometimes.
