I've often fe|t the conference championships were more exciting games than the SB. It was about getting there. Though this season doesn't feel that way. Looking like a pretty clear chiefs eagles matchup which could be interesting

Sounds like he's got the job, odd choice. Mike Vrabel to the Patriots, that's an interesting match

It seems the thing about being the favorite is based on getting two interviews, mentioned earlier that was a big deal, basically meant that was who was getting hired. I think it's a lot more common now for multiple candidatesDonn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 1:13 amSounds like he's got the job, odd choice. Mike Vrabel to the Patriots, that's an interesting match

Now that Pete Carroll is out of the running for HC with the Bears perhaps the Seahawks should hire him as OC.

Now they are making it out that he has a good shot at the raiders job
Sounds like they are going to Pete hat in handThe Super Bowl-winning resume of new minority owner Tom Brady couldn't help the Las Vegas Raiders land the coveted Ben Johnson as the club's new head coach. Brady may, however, end up luring a fellow Super Bowl champion to Sin City, with former Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll now believed to be the Raiders' top target for their head coaching vacancy, according to The Athletic.

That '86 season was frustrating, left you wondering what could have been. After starting 5-6, they put it all together winning their last 5, hotter than blazes, with victories over both teams that would get to the SB if i recall (beat the Giants anyway). And 10-6 usually got you in, but not that time.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:52 pm
Nope. 8-8 in 1985, 10-6 in 1986 with no playoffs either season. We had a couple 9-7s with first-round playoff exits after that and then the '90s reared its ugly head.
