Yeah, we'll see. Maybe it'll work.
That's what I heard about the Urias/Rojas platoon about a year ago. Jerry even went so for to add the WAR of their two best seasons and say they could be a 5+ WAR player even thought that was in about 220 games. lol
Polanco is dogshit defensively at 2B and he'll probably be just as bad or worse at 3B, but if the bat comes back maybe it'll even out.
You know its been a great off season when this is the most optimistic assessment of the biggest acquisition. :|

How does Jerry still have a job? He gets an F+ for last year’s off season and is F+ for this off season. Even Vogey would be an upgrade 🤣
Getting a 130 OPS+ bat in Raley eliminates F from last year.

Another day, another day of nothing.

21 days until game 1.
20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15,,,,,,,,,, I am betting they are done. Just trash fliers on non-roster invitees.

I support the Polanco move. I am drinking the Kool-Aid that the injury affected his batting, and he is said to be healthy now. He didn't tank the same way that guys like Wong, AJ, etc did. He had a 93 OPS+ and still had 16 bombs. The 3 years before he came here, he was a 120 OPS+ guy and on one year he had 33 HR, 35 doubles, and 2 triples. He had 4.9 WAR, 98 RBI, and 97 runs. But 4 years ago he had an 82 OPS+.

I think Jorge has an up year with the bat.

I think we win the West if:

Robles was an 8+ WAR player based on getting lead off ABs for a full healthy season.

Wilson/Edgar FX

Julio .313 .364 .537 .902 in their 34 games at the helm.

They were a top 3 offense once they took over.

Ryan Bliss: does anyone remember his 2023? AA/AAA? .902 OPS, 55 steals, 23 HR, 8 triples, 34 doubles! That is production!

He had a mid .800s OPS in AAA in 2024.

In MLB he had a 102 OPS+. But he maintained XBH #s. .175 ISO. He had 3 doubles, 2 HR and 1 triple in 63 ABS. based on a per 600 ABs that is 29 doubles, 19 HR, 10 triples, and 48 SB, and a 3.8 win player :o 86 RBI, 95 runs ;)
WTF! That is the lovechild of Lowe and Nico H.?

Is Ryan Bliss another potential star?

The platoon at 1B?

Raley vs RHP = .255 .333 .497 .830(In 2024) Vs LHP .189 .259 .311 .570 @Tmobile .264 .344 .557 .901 :o

Solano vs LHP = .302 .373 .443 .816 (in 2024) VS RHP .277 .325 .401 .726 (In 2024)

Ippei Mizuhara Ohtani's interpreter trial is being held now. Thought it was interesting the prosecution is arguing there's no evidence of a gambling addiction, there wasn't any financial stress. Mizuhara had $34,000 in his checking account when he first stole $40,000 from Ohtani. He stole because he felt like stealing

It really is amazing how bad Scott Servais is.

We saw the steady lineups that Dan Wilson put out. It was amazing, actually gave guys an opportunity to get on a roll.

None of this, "You hit a couple bombs last night, why don't you take today off to rest!" stupidity that Servais always did.

I guess the organization is once again relying on "bounce backs" for older players.

Polanco is the best candidate for it, but what really is the ceiling that he can bounce back to? .250 with 20 dingers? We'd take that.

Garver? Has never hit at T-Mobile so it'll likely be more of the same as 2024.

Haniger? Two bad years in a row and he's broken down by a career full of injuries. He's done.
