Kendrick Lamar won a Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2018. Before that, every winner had been from either classical music or jazz. (I had no idea.)
That means the Pulitzer Prize has ZERO credibility.

Well Kendrick isn't just some random rapper. You guys may not appreciate him but for timing that was pretty unbelievable. What's interesting is the song not like us is more than just a number one song, it's a sensation. A week ago it swept the grammies and during this performance it broke the internet with down loads. What's interesting is it's a diss track aimed at drake, it's controversial because it accuses him of being a Pedo. It's not about taste, it's about attention and the Superbowl got it, that was a home run. It's fascinating to me, what's it like to be the target of a diss song that becomes sensational, Drake must be enjoying himself. He's filed law suits but not directly against Kendrick, he's sueing Kendrick's label which also happens to be his. Sure having oldsters like Dr Dre and Snoop would have been enjoyable for the old white guys, but the show they put on was about as topical as one could imagine

My son's and their girlfriends (ages 17, 17, 20 and 21)? Loved it. I couldn't even understand the words and one of them would pipe up "that's dis number six!" Haha.

I promise you, the shit we are saying about their music is exactly what my parents said about Metallica, ACDC, Ratt, Whitesnake and Cinderrella....when I was blaring that stuff downstairs in my bedroom!

To me, dropping someone's name in a "rap diss" is like names of cities in a rock and roll song (with the exception of Steve Miller's "Rockin' Me"). There's just a total gimmicky lameness to it.

The halftime show drew a bigger audience than the game
We’ve broken the record again! The most watched Apple Music Halftime show EVER, with 133.5 Million viewers,” the companies wrote on Instagram. Lamar’s halftime show performance drew a larger audience than the Big Game itself, which Fox Sports reported had an average of 126 million viewers
