If they get Darnold then they probably keep DK. They've already put it out there that they want a 1st and a 3rd for him and no team is going to offer that. So they'll wait and see...

It was being speculated about in the media. I'd say it's a given Lockett signs there now, I'm wondering about Bobby

A lot of rumors about Sam Darnold coming here now. I am not sold on him. He had Justin J, who is one of the top WR in the game. Sam is not a Mobile runner, he has limitations. I am not wanting to pay Sam like a top 5-10 QB based on one year in a different system with different lines/WR/coaching.

I think Justin Fields may be my play. Sign him for 5 to 20 million. Fields played "OK" for a defensive minded HC in Pitt. But he was benched for the ghost of Russ.

We do have 13 million in dead cap for the Geno deal. I have a huge variance in value for Fields because if he was willing to sign a non-guaranteed deal you could get creative. ST/LT, 1 year vs multiple, etc, etc.

I am not 100% on anything here.

I mean maybe you sign Darnold or Fields for 1, 2, or 3 and target Dart, or Milroe.
