Re: Thread for draft simulations:
I've done several drafts over the past day where i limit myself to one trade-back using the #18 pick to get 2-3 day two picks in return. So, here ya go

Like Jackson in the first drafts. A safety in the first will give me heart burn.

Well, Safety isn't up there on my list of positional needs, but Emmanwori is ranked #21 on that site and the OL that are ranked below 35 were all gone. If you read their blurb on him and look at his measurables, it's hard to pass him up in that situation. He's basically the DK Metcalf of defensive backs.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 4:04 pmLike Jackson in the first drafts. A safety in the first will give me heart burn.

The hits just keep coming...
The cool thing about this one is that Zabel and Mbow are equally proficient at Guard and Center.

With the signing of Cupp it probably isn't necessary to draft two WRs now. Here's one to really address the O line issues...
Re: Thread for draft simulations:
My thoughts are that Darnold is a traditional drp back pocket passer, and if you could design a handfull of of plays to take advantage of what Milroe can do and that is run? I mean he bigger and faster than Russ was and we seen how effective the read-option stuff played with Lynch. Plus you get down to the goal line and in 3rd and one/ 4th and one Milroe is big and strong and we could copy the brotherly shove tush push.Lamda wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 9:41 pmDon't think they take a QB this year unless Dart is available with one of their 2nd round picks. If you think about it - it doesn't make a lot of sense to take one this year. If you take one this year with a 2nd round pick or earlier - it means you don't see Darnold lasting more than 1 season. I think they will roll the dice on him this year and see how he does - if the team does terrible and finish with a top 15 pick or something then next year you draft a QB and have him sit for half the season under Darnold otherwise he is what they thought he was and we won't need a QB for years at least.

NFL Draft 2025 Rumors: Jalen Milroe Told Team at Combine He'd Run a 4.3s 40-Yard Dash. That is the type of back I want eventually but for now you sprinkle him in like Taysom Hill in New Orleans.

I like a number of your drafts. I really like Kupp and Scantling. I am almost 100% that between the adds and the losses the WR core is now not your highest need. I still think that you need to add a WR in the 2nd to 4th round.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:46 pmWith the signing of Cupp it probably isn't necessary to draft two WRs now. With the top 3:
JSN, Kupp, and MVS
The next 3
Bobo, White, and Young
I think I would like to target a 4th round or higher size receiver with contested catch ability. Somebody say 6'2" - 6'5" with good speed numbers and or big leaping ability, and or ability to run routes in a way that gives you big play ability consistency.
