Don't see anything about contact or plate discipline, probably be nice if he'd produce better against left-handed pitching

I couldn’t imagine being 25 years old, looking forward to becoming a multimillionaire, while playing a fun game. It must be hell.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 3:41 pmGood for him.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 3:40 pmGilbert on signing an extension
“They know where I stand,” Gilbert said of Mariners management. “Seattle has become like home for me, and I’d love to be able to finish my career here.”
Raleigh’s new contract, Gilbert said, “definitely” adds to his desire to stay in Seattle long-term. They were both part of the Mariners’ 2018 draft class, and they both were up-and-coming prospects the Mariners banked on as the club worked through its rebuilding phase from 2019-21.
“We’ve built something here … and you feel like you have a stake in it,” Gilbert said. “You want to see it through.”
Apparently 85 wins and missing the playoffs while the FO does diddly shit to improve things is appealing.
For 6 months.
Think about it, it would be so much easier driving a big rig cross country and back for say, 15 years.
Re: GT 3/30: IT'S STILL EARLY™
I moved to Seattle in 1991, and was a fan through the 2019 season.
Throughout many of those seasons, the team was never in the playoff hunt, losing seasons were common.
There are plenty of decent teams that don’t make the playoffs.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of this organization, but record wise, they’re averaging almost 90 wins a season for the last several years.
That’s not bad.

Logan is a complete moron if he resigns here. Go pitch somewhere that u can actually have an offense. Don't waste your potential is such trash offense!!!!Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 3:40 pmGilbert on signing an extension.

Perhaps the most telling performance so far of any M is Donovan Solano going 0-4 with 3 K's against a fucking lefty after the Twitter mouth breathers all told us it was an amazing signing b/c he's a high contact guy who never strikes out.
Here comes the next DFA of a geezer that dies in an M's uniform.
Again, I know you don't actually watch the games so you wouldn't have seen it... but he was flat out missing fastballs thrown in the strikezone.
"Well, Solano did arrive late to spring training due to visa issues....."

Re: GT 3/30: IT'S STILL EARLY™
He only signed here cause he knew he couldent hit anymore and wanted more money for sucking. Mariners are stupid and never see that. Sears is gonna carve him up today make him look really really badSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 5:19 pmPerhaps the most telling performance so far of any M is Donovan Solano going 0-4 with 3 K's against a fucking lefty after the Twitter mouth breathers all told us it was an amazing signing b/c he's a high contact guy who never strikes out.

Sears gotta be licking his chops. 7 innings 3 hits 1 run 1 walk 10 strikeouts. Bullpen shuts us down we lose 5-1!!! Sears absolutely owns this team but again what pitcher doesn't. Facing another soft tossing lefty. Lots and lots of swings and misses today. Going with 25 maybe even more of that's possible.
