Julio wasted two plate appearances tonight, his first two vs. Mize which were complete garbage AB's. Then Mize walked him his third time through, which obviously is a better outcome but even there Julio looked at a pitch right down the middle, which you wonder about but maybe he was just taking no matter what in that count. Then he got plunked in his final PA.

It's really the first two plate appearances that I have issue with. These are such bad AB's that they don't even make sense.

I would start benching him. At some point you have to get the message across that these unserious plate appearances won't be tolerated.

The Tigers are just dominating us. Last year they killed us. This year they come in 0-3 and will sweep us :roll:

0 and 3 with all three losses to the Dodgers. We'd have been 0 and 4 if we started with the Dodgers, and we'd have managed that in three games.
