He handles the bat well and is obviously a slick fielder, but he needs to hit the weight room if he wants to have an MLB career. Don't really want to have one of those '70s Mark Belanger/Tim Foli/Johnnie LeMaster/Bud Harrelson/Tom Veryzer-types at third base.

Vargas trying to singlehandedly lose this game.

Can't fault him well maybe u can this would be his spot. So yea it's his fault. Really though Dan not handling back of the game with a lead well!!!DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 6:50 pmVargas trying to singlehandedly lose this game.

Thornton with the bases juiced! Yikes homer happy pitcher. Needs to get this out. Damnnn Thornton to get 4 outs yikes!!
Hell yea take that De la Cruz. Great pitch Thornton. 6 outs Thornton and Munoz yea we need to add on badly. Vargas didn't have it today his command was way off. Thankfully still have the lead!!!

Get ready for 2 relievers to come up tomorrow. We're essentially using a 9-man pen and it's still overworked

.704 OPS that year, he was actually pretty good. Two years later he was surprisingly out of baseball.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 6:42 pm1984 Jack Perconte!DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 6:07 pmI'm 58 years old and if I hit the ball with the same impact Williamson just did it's a 6-2 game. I'm trying to think of a good equivalent for those '70s (and '60s) guys who hit like that yet stuck around for at least four years or so and the best player I can come up with is Julio Cruz.
