I’m thinking anybody on the roster (including most pitchers) could hit higher than .086 against lefties. The fact that Solano USED TO BE a decent hitter shouldn’t get him a spot on the roster.
Once again Jerry and Co fail to understand that that when you dumpster dive it means someone else put them in the dumpster for a reason

Alex Bregman: .302/.376/.521/.897 1.3 bWAR

Pete Alonso: .349/.452/.698/1.150 1.8 bWAR

Had Jerry got off his ass and we'd be the favorites from the AL to get to the World Series...

Instead we got a 38 year old who may set a record for -OPS+.

I expect Solano will be here at least through May, though I could be wrong about that. But I don't see them giving up on him this soon. He's only had around 40 plate appearances. On the other hand, Samad Taylor is hitting the ball pretty well in Tacoma.

The bolded text is why this franchise is a constant loser.

Maybe Dipoto's not stupid.

Maybe he's just dyslexic and thought he was signing Alonso when he signed Solano....

Just kidding. He's stupid.
