Still no respect
. In the latest post-draft power rankings on NFL.com, draft insider Eric Edholm has Seattle listed at No. 19 overall in the league. Interestingly enough, even after the draft, this ranking dropped the Seahawks two spots. What is most interesting - or concerning - is the fact this latest power ranking has Seattle behind all three of their NFC West rivals.

Los Angeles Rams - No. 8
San Francisco 49ers - No. 15
Arizona Cardinals - No. 18
Think it mostly turns on Darnold vs. Geno. i dont know how or why Geno engenders such a love affair from national media, but they seem to think he's better than Sam, when Geno has never had a season close to as good as Sam had last year. Overrated because of high completion percentage, which is one of the least relevant stats to winning. Yes he also had a lot of clutch game-winning drives, but overall he was not that clutch because his red-zone rating was horrid, and all the interceptions. Funny/ironic that they doubt Sam for having just one good year following his escape from the wasteland that is the Jets, when that was the same scenario that Geno overcame. They both have talent, and environment matters.

Yeah, think there's questions about Darnold being as successful with the Seahawks, more of an unknown factor. I've been meaning to bring up how impressed I am with JS's off season. You guys can groan but I think he's shown why he is highly regarded around the league. He's basically rebuilt the team, and he's done it quickly and efficiently. We'll see what the product is like, for me it feels like when Pete and js first took control. Create an identity, a common factor that runs through both the offense and defense. It began with replacing Grubb, installing a new offense with kubiak, trading Geno and Metcalf, signing Darnold, and then the draft. That to me was a heck of a lot to accomplish over an off season.

Yep it is Northwest of you in West Wenatchee. Yes, they probably had second thoughts about the Dogs. Originally they said no pets and they likely found people with no pets. This place is a nicer house but no RV parking but seems RV storage is fairly inexpensive around there.

A lot of those moves were necessary due to problems of his own making though. He made the decision to hire Grubb and had no viable replacement for Geno already on the roster since he hasn't drafted one in years. And he had to trade DK because he couldn't keep him happy with regard to the team's approach to offense (or perhaps he was tired of the OC carousel). So while he deserves praise for re-stocking the cupboards quickly while saving cap space, i'm not sure how he's handled things overall in recent years has been too encouraging.

The college softball and baseball fields are right there off of 9th. The AppleSox play summer ball there. It’s fun every once in awhile, but I’d rather watch the HS kids because I know them. My wife teaches at West Side HS, which is on the othe side of 9th St. Right across the street from the Softball field.
