Never mind, i think i had that backwards. Or perhaps Mike Salk was pulling shit out of his ass...Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 12:59 amI heard on the radio this morning that the Mariners hit above league average in their first at-bats against starting pitchers, average in their 2nd at-bats, and well below average in their 3rd at-bats. Given that most teams hit better against a starting pitcher as the game progresses, can anyone explain why it's the reverse for the Ms?

Cal doesn't do shit with players on base (most times). has 18 hr and just 36 rbi and has played every gm
Re: 5/27 Nationals vs. Mariners GT
Good start to the game sucks Julio or Cal couldent add on there!!
Re: 5/27 Nationals vs. Mariners GT
Yea it does suck most of his homers are solo!!!
Evans looking very sharp early on when he throws strikes he is very very good!!! Control the walks and he will be fine!!!
Re: 5/27 Nationals vs. Mariners GT
It is hard to hit the second of back to back HRs with men on base. I will cut him some slack there.
