It's great to give guys a shot but if you're really serious about making a playoff run at this point you should put that stuff aside, there's plenty of time to give Williamson his shot. I'd like to see them get more offense out of 3rd base.

me as well but Moncada isnt a clear upgrade to give up prospects for IMO. Along with injury history where he is at presently

This trade got all thumbs down via M's fans.

If the M's had aspirations for winning a world title, they'd do it in a second. But they don't... so point is moot.

I have seen a couple outlets saying Moncada and another 3B as potential trade targets. I can’t see moving on from Williamson unless a huge upgrade. He is hitting 0.257 and decent defense, hitting 0.300 since he has changed his stance. Needs to be a true upgrade for what ever we trade. I see 1B as biggest spot bc we don’t have anyone on Farm unless we teach Ford at AAA.

His OPS is about 200 points higher than Ben's. Seems significant but the Angels are only 1 game behind us. They could be buyers and we could be sellers by the deadline.
