Yeah, we're pretty close to being the Ravens of the West Coast. If we actually try running it like the Ravens it's going to be a long season full of 3 and outs and injured RBs.
I said that same shit when we fired Grubb. Yeah, just run it more dude, I mean, look at all the success we had!? It was a cop out, and IMO? Schneider is right there with Dipotto in finding ways to cover his own ass. At least Mariner fans blame Jerry for a lot of the shit. Seahawk fans are so busy blaming the OC for everything from Super Bowl losses to higher gas prices, they don't even bother to look at the fact that we have had an embarrassingly bad O Line pretty much the entire time Schneider has been here! Fire another OC, that'll do it. Nothing to see here.

Only in Seattle could GM's like these two survive for as long as they have. Eagle fans would have hung them by now, and it would have mostly been from the press taking shots at them left and right. Our fans want to erect statues and the press is worse.

The end of this season there were pitchforks out in here for Schneider. Then he fired the OC and let the QB and WRs go and all I read about was how that was all that needed to be done!

They can't improve? What I like seeing is they seem to have a plan now and are intent on installing it. I see a consistent approach with how they drafted and built the coaching staff. I'm giving MM a mulligan for last year, now I seeing more of an identity, I think it's a better reflection of how he wants to play football. If there's no improvement that would be disappointing because it's not going to be the same old shit, it would be a pile of new shit.

So, the O Line has been shit the entirety of this GM's career. How many mulligans does he get? At what point do you pull back the curtain and wonder what the fuck the wizard is doing? In his career we've had one good QB, zero good O Lines, and watched the youngest and most talented team in football turn into a bickering and bitching mess in one off season, and it's been down hill ever since. Yet? Johnnie boy gets zero heat?

Fire another OC. All the fan base can talk about that entire off season is how this new guy is going to fix it all. Bates, Bevell, Schotty, Waldron, Grubb....am I missing any?

I'm fine with optimism....Hell, I'll be on the edge of my seat the week 1 ready to be pissed off all over again, but fired up for it. But for God's sake, I'm so tired of reading the same old shit year in and year out, and no one wondering what the one common denominator is! Imagine being the GM in a large market and having the Offensive Lines that this fool has had!? It's all the coaches fault. How many different coaches have to lose their jobs before we realize it's the fucker bringing in the players?

Mitch agrees with Michael regarding Darnold.

If the O line is no better than last year i could see Darnold really struggling and leading the league in turnovers. And, yes, they have no receiver now that will draw the attention (and fear) of coverage units that DK did and that will make things tougher for Darnold because JSN won't be as open. That said, the O line should be better just for having Lucas back fully healthy and Olu/Haynes/Bradford/Laumea a year older. And if Zalek is as good as advertized the left side could be the best it's been since Jones & Hutch.

Apparently you haven't been listening to the savior that is Kubiak. He says the new TE, that runs just under 4.7, is going to replace DK as that guy. Come one, pay attention! :D  :D

It seems that the Seahawks had even extrapolated from that 4.69 40 that he ran that he could actually run closer to low 4.5s. I guess they feel that even though this was something that was going to make him money down the road, he really wasn't giving it his all?

More Lazy reporting.
"Arroyo's size, speed and route-running ability led new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to wonder aloud during predraft meetings whether he could essentially take over as Seattle's X receiver afterDK Metcalf was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason," Henderson wrote.

It doesn't seem farfetched, either. Looking at Arroyo's build and physical tools, he isn't far from what Metcalf provided the Seahawks for the last six seasons. Metcalf also never seemed to reach his peak with the Seahawks, consistently producing but only surpassing 1,000 yards receiving in half of those seasons in Seattle.

That gives Arroyo the perfect opportunity to be Kubiak's secret weapon, moving him everywhere from an inline tight end all the way out to an X receiver. If he becomes the player the Seahawks hope he can be, that could be very dangerous for NFL defenses.
Yes, Elijah Arroyo ran a 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, clocking in at 4.69 seconds. He also reportedly ran a 4.40 at a different event, though this was likely at a different time and/or with different conditions. However, he did not run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine or his pro day due to a knee injury he suffered at the Senior Bowl. His GPS speeds were estimated to translate to a 40 time of 4.52 or 4.53, according to ESPN.
He ran a 4.69, but reportedly ran one faster. That said, I'm not sure what to make of the fact that he ran a 4.69 at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, but it later says he didn't run at the Combine or the Pro Day? Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe this rookie TE runs so fast he is going to be the new deep threat. Just not sure about that logic.

Sure, they can improve, but Michael makes some good points. We were all so excited when Grubb came on board and 'installed' the new offense. End result? Grubb is gone.

Will Kubiak change anything? I doubt it. Yet another new guy that the players will need to adjust to. Hope I'm wrong. As for Schneider? Well, there's something to be said for not protecting the QB.

As a SEA fan, one has to learn to temper expectations.

I still wonder what happens if we run the damn ball on second and goal. Of course, I imagine our O Line would have still turned to shit, and eventually we'd be here. But I have always said, if we won that one, we'd have won the next year too and had a three peat!

Honestly, I wasn't that excited about Grubb, that they hired a pair of rookie coaches with no NFL experience Grubb and huff on the offensive side of the ball along with a rookie HC with limited offensive experience seemed risky to me. I was told here, it was no big deal, football is football. I think it ended up being a pretty big deal
