This team should probably be 5 Ws better than they are. I swear to God, if they can just get on a run, win 8 in a row and then win another 5 in a row and then another 3 in a row. Rip off 16 Ws in 19 games. We'll be locked into the top WC spot, we'll pressure the 'Stros and take all the pressure off of ourselves.

There's a lot of talent on this team and they just need to find consistency

It's nice to see the other team have a full mental breakdown for once.
I know! And after that bullshit re-do in the 4th vs Castillo, I said 'here we go again! what did the M's ever do to the baseball gods?' What a turnaround

And gotta give credit to this team tonight. Lose an absolute heartbreaker last night in the bronx, probably threw stuff in the clubhouse, then roll into Detroit at 3am, have Skubal to face, and they shrug all that off and deliver one of their best games of the season.

Kudos. Now get the final 3 outs and finish this series out with 2 more Ws to get the sweep
And that's really the key, i don't think they threw stuff, I think they went about their business and got ready for Detroit. That's how you manage a season.

Honestly, i feel the same way, i don't see why they are so far behind the Astros. What seems to separate them is pitching and it shouldn't. I think the mariners pitching could catch theirs

Batting around still no outs. Wow kinda inning this offense needed wow!! Cal 3 granny's this season. Adding up more on Judge. Yea Cal plays a tougher position then Judge he is true mvp. Cal most homers in 1st half. Don't count steroids Bonds wow could Cal get to 40 before the half ends? Judge has never done that. Wow
Cal also doesn’t play half his games in a little league ball park dimension wise down the lines. Cal plays half his games in an extreme pitchers park.

Wowsers! Beat downs their Ace!

Their pitching is pretty tough with Mike who has an ERA in the 2’s. And Flaherty who has a history record of being a good pitcher.

ESPN's halftime grades, Mariners with a B, along with the Dodgers, Phillies, Cardinals, Giants and Mets
Seattle Mariners: B
At times it has felt like Cal Raleigh has been a one-man team with his record-breaking first half. But he will be joined on the All-Star squad by starting pitcher Bryan Woo, closer Andres Munoz and center fielder Julio Rodriguez, who made it on the strength of his defense, as his offense has been a disappointment.

The offense has been one of the best in the majors on the road, but the rotation has been nowhere near as effective as the past couple of seasons, with George Kirby, Logan Gilbert and Bryce Miller all missing time with injuries. They just shut out the Pirates three games in a row, so maybe that will get the rotation on a roll
