Also gave up nothing. Garcia and Izzi are likely relievers full time if they ever make it long term. Be interesting to see if Raley goes down and Locklear comes up and Solano gets axed too

His defense has been real bad of late at 1B.

Saw a report that ARI is asking "for a ton" for Geno. So they might be still working on that separately or walking away

They are going to hold on to Geno and get as much for him as they can. Who wants him most, I’m guessing the diamondbacks are holding out for a guy like Laz or Arroyo for him.

There's no need for Geno. He subtracts your defense and the addition of Naylor likely bring the offense to top 5 already. Go get some pitching and let's rip off 20 of 25

The issue is that the Yankees dont have a Laz or Arroyo.

Their prospects are fringe top 100 where Laz or Arroyo are top 50.

That's who we are competing against. So I'm not sure that the asking price is so high that it hasn't been done yet.
