So, here we are to the final tournament.

The final standings are:

Honestly, I don't like the format of the final tournament. Why keep track of points if they don't mean anything for the final tournament?

So basically, you can be the 150th rated golfer in the world, squeaking into the playoffs, then win that tournament and that guarantees you a place in the finals (the 2000 fedex points from winning that tournament). Then win that final tournament and you, the 150th rated player, wins the whole Sha-boom by having a less than pedestrian season.

But I digress..... MM let me know if you want to switch places? I seem to have gotten 2 of your 3 typical choices with Rose & Lowrey.

Do they still give the higher ranked players still get to start out with a few strokes advantage?
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

That's not what they were saying during the airing of the previous tournament. They said that all they had to do was to get in (top 30 players) and win the tournament, then they were the BIG Winners.... so points had jack squat to do with anything except getting to the final 30 spots.

So Sungjae Im can win it all if he wins this tournament.
He has 3 top 10 finishes this last year and zero wins..... and get's the exact same benefit from those 3 top 10's as Scotty get's with his 5 wins and 15 top 10's (along with missing the first part of the season).

This year its been scrapped which takes away the advantage of playing well all season. Then again, the tournament would be a bit of a procession if you let Scheffler start at -10. Almost ridiculous. They could have compromised somewhat and given the top three -3, -2 and -1 starts or something.

 I suppose this means they will finish 1st and 3rd giving you the title

This post (click here) on the Open Championship thread set out the criteria which WWDII has clearly been tracking well. Great stuff, sir.

Which means the squads are as follows;

PS WWDII - its the "Tour Championship", if you edit your first post Subject, it will change on the front page as well.

Can we make trades, or is the lineup set in stone.

For instance.....DT gets totally drunk and stupid and accepts a trade with me [Lowrey for Scheffler]?
What say you DT?

Honestly, I have always considered both Rose and Lowery to be 4th round chokers. Aberg either plays great or shitty.

My prediction....
Rose and Lowery will both be in the top 5 going into Sunday, then fall below 15th.
Who knows what Aberg will do.
