tossing Mazi smith down from his rookie season

Are the Cowboys shopping him? Not sure we need another bad ex-Cowboy nose tackle.
smith at this point is considered a pretty profound bust, the problem is the cowboys have nobody else to play there. He was considered a high draft choice because of his strength, he didn't look very strong there against bradford.
AI Overview

Mazi Smith is considered very strong physically, noted for his rare combination of size (over 325 pounds) and athleticism that made him a "freak" prospect, but his strength hasn't consistently translated to high-level NFL production in his career so far.

I think the Seahawks are pretty well set on the interior. Here's ESPN's ranking of position groups. The only group they were particularly impressed with on the Seahawks is the interior defensive line
Best: Seattle Seahawks
A contender for this honor one year ago, the Seahawks remain stacked up front with Leonard Williams leading the way. Williams is still playing at a superstar level at 31, as he led all interior linemen with 11 sacks and ranked fourth with 35 pass rush wins last season. Jarran Reed (4.5 sacks in 2024) and Johnathan Hankins are also back. And 2024 first-round pick Byron Murphy II is a candidate for a second-year leap after a solid rookie showing.

All aboard, the Bradford hype train, hope its true
"AB [Bradford] has made great strides," Kubiak said. "Obviously he’s a physical presence, but you see more consistency in his game throughout camp, so I see a guy that’s playing more confident."
He had a 92 PFF rating vs. the Chiefs! He is going to be the starter. Haynes to back up both G sports. Hopefully he barely plays. Just an awful pick.

If they can get anything out of Bradford the next two years at $1.3 mil per that would be some pretty good value as opposed to someone like Will Fries who got a 2-year avg of $11.5 mil or Joe Thuney 2-year avg of $14.75 mil.
