was gonna say the level of technology might not have been as good in 1988 but there was also not the level of tension. The issue for me about this latest tragedy isn't so much the dudes that shot it down, but why the heck was the airport operating in the first place under those conditions? That was really the dumb part of it, that was an absurdly dangerous place to send an airliner. That was what i was thinking when i read it, what the heck was an airliner doing up there?

Did you hear about the woman that reached out to her husband in Toronto right before the flight took off expressing concern about flying. She was visiting her family for 3 weeks in Terhan. Why in the hell didn't she and the rest of the passengers just stay another week until things blew over. Mind boggling.

funny, I don't concern myself too much with this stuff, don't follow the news. But since we got on the topic i was pondering comparing Obama to Trump and i decided to look at the books they recommend. Obama is of course, all this deep thinking stuff, Trump are pretty books about Trump lol...
