he's wearing down, he's played nearly every single game of the season, it was going to happen. It being the ASG is coincidental. I think its insulting to his intelligence to infer that all he is interested in now is his homeruns.

So being worn down has caused him to not take pitches outside the strike zone as often? Would have thought being worn out would have the opposite effect.

Why is it the later it gets the worse Cal's swings are it's like he does well his 1 AB or 2 then the rest he F's it up. chasing bad pitches, Randy too. Make them pitch to you even if it's the bullpen. If JP can go oppo more consistently we'd be set. Naylor needs some work with Edgar too. Hey a win's a win though. I'll take it.
