That's how the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame works. Look at the 2025 inductees. Soundgarden and Bad Company had five-year runs. Cyndi Lauper had one big album and one other big hit song. Chubby Checker literally is known for one song which must have REALLY dominated that one week in September of 1960 when it was #1 on the Billboard charts.DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Sun Aug 31, 2025 4:54 pmSeattle has had several players with massive peaks but maybe not the full body of work.
I want to open up my own sports museum that celebrates peak dominance rather than 20 years of reliability.

I mean it's in the name. It's the Hall of Fame. It should be about how famous you were at your peak. I'm sure you could compile a nice contrast of well known and loved players that aren't in the HOF versus much lesser known guys that were enshrined.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 5:49 pmThat's how the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame works. Famous people often flame out. They're rock stars.
Dwight Gooden 1985... (y'all ready to party?!?!?!)
W/L 24-4
Strikeouts 268
Innings Pitched 276.2
WHIP 0.965
WAR 12.2
So, then 100 years from now you take your kid to a museum so he can see the Mike Mussina exhibit?
If I had tons of money I would really do it. The exhibits would be off the chain. The Shawn Kemp exhibit!!!!!!

beat the Patriots for their second SB win if only they would have just given him the ball... please watch.

caught watching the impending doom heading his way and didn't secure the ball.

Re: Lynch article
Thanks for posting that, watching that video really brought back some memories. I actually only watched the game live to the point in the 1st quarter when Kaepernick ripped off the 50 yard run. I felt like if i continued watching it only more and more bad things would happen. This feeling i believe came from the effect that watching Super Bowl XL in 2006 had on my psyche - it really permanently damaged my ability to watch Seahawk games without a nagging sense of unease. But anyway, i think i checked back in on the radio in the 3rd quarter a little before the TD pass to Kearse. Later i watched highlights but i never watched the full game, until now. What strikes me is how dialled in all the players on both teams were. I didn't see a single dropped pass or personal foul. A clean game played at the highest level.

Re: Lynch article
Pretty strange that Carroll and Harbaugh are once again coaching teams in the same division all these years later.

Re: Lynch article
So you know more about where the hand-off should be than a former NFL quarterback? Anyway, i'm pretty sure RBs are supposed to be looking at the players in front of them and not the ball during the hand-off.

the lack of seahawk respect really seems to come down to Darnard, PFF has them ranked 20th
"The Seahawks made the tough decision to part ways with Geno Smith in the offseason, trading him to the Raiders and replacing him with Sam Darnold," Valentine wrote. "That move likely makes Seattle worse at quarterback, but the team appears content after securing a better offensive line, a new weapon in Cooper Kupp and a new play-caller in Klint Kubiak."
"The offense will teeter on a knife-edge weekly with Darnold, but the defense has the potential to be the best in the league in 2025," Valentine added. "The Mike Macdonald plan is coming into effect, and the floor feels considerably higher for this team."

Re: Lynch article
so is everybody familiar with this interview segment with ML about his relationship with RW? Seems like i remember something about that look ML gives when asked about kicking it with Russel lol. ML tries to get ahold of him and RW calls him back from a blocked number lol. Talk about opposites. I don't care if you are on the practice squad, pick up the fucking phone and call me, that was ML
