Cole is still on the roster. Isn't he?rockycola wrote: ↑Tue Sep 09, 2025 1:56 amI do not think Young and Williamson are done for at all.
Most likely they still have a bright, successful MLB future ahead of them, hopefully with the Mariners.
M's have plenty of middle infield prospects who may or may not beat out Young. Not much in the depth for 3B.
You chaps have totally bought into the obsolescence culture to keep the economy going. Turnover. Churn over.
Kelenic is an abysmal, headcase of a failure. Came up too soon, boasted his way into "legend in his own mind" roster status.
Ben and Cole simply got a good taste, had success and failure, got sent down for more seasoning. They will be back.

You stole me pot o' golden gamethreads. Now i'm comin' to collect yer debt...rockycola wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 10:32 pmThe St. Louis Cardinals are in town. My two favorite Cardinal players of all time are Stan Musial and Bob Gibson. They don't have much these days which makes them dangerous. They're 72-72 on the season. Woo needs to hold them in check while the Mariner's offense keeps up its high scoring offensive onslaught.
I visited St. Louis once upon a time. Went up in the Gateway Arch and saw the Mississippi River from above. Wasn't inspired too much.
