I wonder how our predictions would have changed at the beginning of the season had we known JD was going to ACTUALLY get us bats at the trade deadline, instead of sitting on his thumbs like he's always done. I know my prediction would have changed drastically.

I agree, but I guess it's part of the contest.

I went into this season saying "this is not a playoff team or a world series roster". Then they cut a few albatrosses loose and then went out and got Naylor and Geno, and those changes seemed to move the needle. But of course we have no way of knowing what Jerry was going to do in July way back in April. I DO think that if the whole OD roster was preserved all season long that we would not have won the division.

Anyhow - I, for one, am willing to walk back almost every shitty thing I said about this team all season long. These comments were either the result of survivor's fatigue or just cynicism borne out of bitter experience.

I am just giddy that we pulled it off this season. I think I pooped a little last night.

If this contest comes down to the OPS tiebreaker, Julioooo is closest, and he's .79 under Crawford's .824. Nobody amongst us can deny we had zero faith in the M's shortstop. A bunch of doubters we are .
